3. Sign a Bullpen Arm

Unfortunately, reports do not indicate that San Francisco will be anywhere interested in big names like Tyler Clippard, Joe Nathan, or Fernando Rodney, but the losses of Affeldt and Vogelsong leads me to believe that they need somebody to eat up some innings next season.

Look for San Francisco to offer low-risk contracts to the bullpen arms of Edward Mujica, Antonio Bastardo, or JP Howell.
