#5. Jordan Zimmermann–RHP
Giants fans may remember Zimmermann as the man who almost pitched the Nationals past the Giants in Game 3 of the 2014 NLDS had it not been for a blown save in the ninth inning by Drew Storen. With the Nationals blow up this year, its unknown whether Zimmermann will even want to return to America’s capital.
Zimmermann has been, arguably, the best pitcher that nobody has noticed in the league since his debut in 2009. Since that rookie campaign, Zimmermann is career 70-50 with a 3.32 ERA and has never started less than 26 games since 2010.
