Perhaps Span could be a dark-horse option as the Giants would love to unload the struggling Angel Pagan and add a speedy outfielder. Despite missing over 100 games from hip surgery, Span has been a constant havoc at the top of the order since he entered the league in 2008 with the Minnesota Twins.
In his career with Minnesota and the Washington Nationals, Span has swiped 152 bags, supports a .352 on-base-percentage, and has a .991 fielding percentage.
