3. Trade for Michael Morse of the Pittsburgh Pirates
Lets face it, all of us, including himself, want to see Morse back in a Giants uniform. Fans, teammates, and coaches all loved the guy, and he played a huge part in the incredible 2014 World Series run.
The biggest setback to this would be Morse’s poor outfield play. If Morse found himself back in the outfield, he would move to left field and Gregor Blanco would take over in centerfield. Morse has bounced around clubs this year, being traded from the Miami Marlins to the Los Angeles Dodgers (don’t worry he never played a game for the Dodgers) and finally the Pirates.
Morse is another 2016-17 free agent who would love to finish up his career in a place where he is absolutely adored.
