1. Travis Ishikawa hit a walk-off three-run home run to clinch the NL pennant in 2014

Speaking of walk-off NL Pennant clinching home runs, perhaps the Giants were nice enough to grant this generation a repeat of Thomsen’s walk-off winner in 1951. Travis Ishikawa hit one of, if not the, greatest hit in San Francisco Giants history as the Giants would go on to win their third World Series in a five year span. Just watching Ishikawa’s excitement and shocked emotions as Jake Peavy tries tackling him as he rounds third base and the team swarming him at home plate gives me the chills every time.
