4. Matt Cain threw the first perfect game in Giants franchise history

On a cold night at AT&T Park on June 13, 2012, Matt Cain achieved perfection against the Houston Astros by retiring the only 27 batters in a row. Cain tied Sandy Koufax with the most strikeouts during a perfect game–14. After a blast by Jordan Schafer, nobody will forget the impossible diving catch Gregor Blanco made out in Triple’s Alley.
