5. Barry Bonds hit his 756th career home run to break the controversial all-time home run record
I was extremely reluctant to put Bonds on this list as I am strongly opposed to allowing PHD-users to be written in the record books. However, this night was a big moment in Giants franchise history, and will be relatable to a lot of our audience. Although I believe Bonds should be kept away from any accolades and awards, August 7th, 2007 was definitely a memorable day for San Francisco fans.
