RHP George Kontos

Kontos would be labeled as another one of those steals we were talking about earlier. The inherited-runner specialist Kontos has pitched in 65 games this season, while posting a 2-2 record, 1.87 ERA, and a very respective .202 opposing batting average.

Should San Francisco retain Kontos? Yes.

Duh! Kontos is making just over the league minimum this year, $518,000, and he will be cheap this offseason as well. Kontos will look for around a 2 year/$4 million contract, and if San Francisco can afford him, he has been determined to prove that he belongs in this league.
