#7. Ryan Vogelsong: Metalingus–by Alter Bridge
I apologize for the beginning of my list being dominated by pitchers, but I’m a pitcher myself and Vogelsong’s song (wow, that sounds weird–Vogelsong’s song) “Metalingus” is just flat bada$$. Voggy has publicly been praised for his demeanor in the clubhouse before he pitches, in that, he speaks to nobody in order to focus his mind in on the upcoming game.
Just look at Vogelsong throughout the game, and it is obvious that his mind, energy, and focus is 100% locked in from first pitch. The 38-year old veteran chooses his song wisely by picking a hard and dark song to get him ready for his first batter. He is similar to MadBum with his swagger on the mound, but not to the same extent. The hard rock song by Alter Bridge places him number seven on my list.
