#8. Madison Bumgarner: John the Revelator–by Curtis Stigers & The Forest Rangers

Good ‘ol country Bumgarner is just a very unique guy, in the sense that he is so redneck and special in his presence. From his Carhartt jackets to his Southern swagger, nobody wants to mess with the 2014 World Series MVP. His song, “John the Revelator”, comes straight out of the show Sons of Anarchy, which is about an outlaw motorcycle gang.

Bumgarner’s walk-up song is dark and scary, and this song captures the presence he puts out on the mound: mean.
