Conclusion/Results:

To sum up all of this mumbo jumbo statistics and baseball nerdiness, Kershaw is better during regular season, and I believe is the better overall pitcher. So to answer the question of who is the better pitcher, I would have to say Kershaw.

On the other hand, to answer the question of who I would rather have on my team, I would have to say Bumgarner. Why? Look at his hands versus Kershaw’s and tell me who has more World Series rings. Period.

Ultimately, both players are two of the best in the game and on their way to Hall of Fame careers, but until Kershaw produces when it really counts, Bumgarner is my man.
