Perhaps the closest to having an MLB promotion is Okert, who was drafted in the 4th round in 2012 out of the University of Oklahoma. The former Sooner has primarily pitched in the bullpen and he has pitched for the Triple-A Sacramento Rivercats all season long.

In 56 1/3 innings pitched, Okert has tallied two saves while striking out 64 batters. Thus far, location has been his issue as he has a WHIP of 1.47.

The hard throwing left-hander throws mid-90s and could be on his way to the big league club when rosters expand in September.
