Giants fans may remember the Jeff Francoeur experiment in 2013 when he played in 22 games and hit just .194. However, Francoeur seems to have found his stroke as he is hitting .355 with five home runs and nine RBIs in his last 21 games.
Francoeur has always had the defensive abilities, but it is his hitting that as always been a question mark. Francoeur was the outfielder that everybody stopped to watch in the first three years of his career when he finished third in Rookie of the Year voting in 2005 and won a Gold Glove in 2007.
Francoeur has a cheap contract of one-year, $950,000.
