Gregor Blanco/Angel Pagan VS. Joc Pederson

This is a match-up of two opposite type of players in that Pederson is either going to strikeout, walk, or hit it out of the yard; whereas, Blanco and Pagan are line drive hitters who like to utilize their crafty tools. With Pagan on the DL, Blanco is the ideal 4th outfielder for San Francisco, but Pederson is equally as good as Blanco in the outfield, produces more runs, and has a higher WAR.

Blanco–.296/.376/.419, 79 hits, 3 home runs, 23 RBI, 18 doubles, .987 fielding percentage, and 1.0 WAR.

Pederson–.217/.358/.447, 84 hits, 23 home runs, 47 RBI, 18 doubles, .982 fielding percentage, and 2.5 WAR.

Advantage Pederson.
