Buster Posey VS. Yasmani Grandal

Although Grandal has had a breakout year for the Dodgers, there is no argument here in that Posey would have the advantage over almost any catcher in the MLB. Both were NL All Stars this year, but Posey is having an MVP caliber year.

Posey–.323/.382/.489, 16 home runs, 78 RBI, .998 fielding percentage, and 5.7 WAR (wins above replacement).

Grandal–.283/.390/.484, 15 home runs, 44 RBI, .997 fielding percentage, and 1.8 WAR.

Advantage Posey.
