The contentious relationship between Latos and the Giants fan base has only gotten worse over the years, and it’s sure to get even more heated with the right-hander being traded to San Francisco’s SoCal arch-nemesis.
Unlike most of the other guys on this list, the ill will goes both ways. Latos has made his distaste for the Giants organization very clear by signing baseballs with “I hate SF” and calling out the team’s players and fans. He continues to place his foot firmly in his mouth seven years into his big league career, burning bridges with old ball clubs while he tries to find a home with new ones.
Latos is an easy guy to hate for almost anyone, but he holds a special place in the hearts of Giants fans. You know, the place reserved for darkness, anger and frustration.
