2015 San Francisco Giants player hashtags

There’s no doubt that the San Francisco Giants are within striking distance of the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West (3 games back): #crunchtime
However, the Giants have been inconsistent all season. In fact, they have won as many as 8 games in a row, yet have lost as many as 8 games in a row as well: #thesunwillcomeouttomorrow

In an age where social media has taken over our lives, it is more than fitting to be hashtagging everything we do. But, a word of advice: don’t take a selfie for everything you do and post it to Instagram. Like, seriously? I can’t even right now. I need my “Starbs low-fat green-tea frap with no whip” or I will have a BF!
Sorry, I apologize for my high school girl antics, but in all seriousness, the Giants have had a surprisingly good year. You might be thinking, “Surprising? What do you mean surprising? They won the 2014 World Series you dummy.” Woah, woah, woah, easy tiger! Words hurt, you know?
Let’s think about this for a second:
1. Starting third baseman and 2-time All Star Pablo Sandoval signed with the Boston Red Sox in the off-season–I guess we have to trade for Casey McGehee: #PlanB
2. Our beloved Hunter Pence gets hit by a pitch in Spring Training and is out for the first 6-8 weeks of the season with a fractured ulna–I guess we will see what Justin Maxwell can do: #PlanC

3. Matt Cain and Jake Peavy both start their season on the Disabled List due to a flexor strain for “the Horse” and back tightness for Peavy–I guess we will pull up Chris Heston, who has never stepped foot on the Major League mound and see how he does: #PlanD
These are just a few of the bumps in the road that San Francisco has had to deal with this 2015 year. Not to mention, it’s an odd year, so the Giants are doomed, right? Don’t worry, that stand isn’t going to fly with me either. It wouldn’t matter if it’s 2015 or 2016, with the talent that the Giants possess, they have a chance to repeat: #dynasty.
We have had a little bit of everything this year, including surprises (Matt Duffy), breakout players (Brandon Crawford), and an MVP caliber year (Buster Posey).
So, here are some hashtags to describe the type of year that each notable (no offense Joaquin Arias) San Francisco Giant is having during this wild 2015 season.
