#4. OF Jonny Gomes

Atlanta Braves outfielder Jonny Gomes could be tipping his helmet back in the Bay Area, as the former Oakland Athletic is on a poor Braves team and signed a short-lived 1 year/$4 million contract before the 2015 season. Gomes has a slash line of .204/.314/.321 this season with 4 homeruns and 13 RBIs in limited playing time.

For me, Gomes is a perfect fit for the second-place San Francisco Giants. What does the Petaluma, California native bring? He brings with him a hard-nosed and exciting attitude and is a good clubhouse guy, in that he is very easy to get along with. Everybody seems to like Jonny Gomes. Along with this, Gomes has been the spark on many playoff teams, such as the Oakland Athletics (2012), Boston Red Sox (2013), and Tampa Bay Rays (2008).

The San Francisco Giants are known for recruiting good people who have specific ways in which they play the game of baseball. Just as people say Mike Leake was always a San Francisco Giant guy at heart, Gomes has the same charisma about him.

Of all of the guys on our list, I personally hope GM Bobby Evans can find a way to pull Gomes back to the Bay Area.
