One of the biggest surprises and came in the form of outfielder Cody Ross, who was claimed off waivers in 2010 to block the San Diego Padres from acquiring him. Later that year, Ross would go on to win the 2010 NLCS MVP by hitting .350 with three homeruns, six extra base hits, and six RBIs.
