A recharged Giants team has stormed out of the gate after the All-Star break, outscoring the Snakes 16-6 over the weekend for a three-game sweep. Despite their recent success, the reigning champs remain several games back of the division-leading Dodgers, and the buzz surrounding potential deadline deals and roster moves is reaching a fever pitch.

With Nori Aoki out and Angel Pagan slumping, talk of a potential outfield addition has been rampant. In other news, Tim Lincecum appears to be fading into obscurity, but an ace still in his prime has emerged as a possible offseason target—and you won’t believe who it is.

Read on for more on these topics in ATF’s post-All Star break rumor roundup.
