Do not qualify (pitchers)

Jake Peavy

He’s looked decent since coming back, but Peavy’s team-high 5.10 xFIP is a little alarming. Really glad we have Vogey waiting in the wings.

Josh Osich

I know he’s only appeared in six games, but I’m really high on Osich. The Giants will have a tough decision to make whenever Jeremy Affeldt is ready to go.

Matt Cain

Here’s to hoping that Cain can return to form. Even with a marked regression, The Horse would be a solid No. 2 or No. 3 starter.

Michael Broadway

Broadway is good enough to pitch on a lot of MLB teams. He’s done enough to deserve a second call-up if a right-handed reliever goes down.
