Here we are at No. 1—the easiest selection of the entire list. Posey would be primed for another MVP season were it not for the gaudy numbers of Bryce Harper and Paul Goldschmidt, and it’s more than fitting that he wore gold-plated gear at the All-Star game this year. Always first-place in our hearts, Buster also grabs the gold medal in these roster rankings heading into the second half. If he can keep up his current totals (.314, 14 HR, 58 RBI, 46 R,), the Giants will have a great shot at breaking the odd-numbered year curse.
