Game 2

Friday night, Tim Hudson faced his old team for the first time since he played for them—and he won. He pitched seven innings, giving up one run on five hits with four strikeouts.

In the bottom of the first inning, Buster Posey hit a two-run HR, scoring Panik, who reached on an infield hit. The Posey/Panik duo struck again in the eighth when Buster knocked home his baby-faced lookalike on a ground-rule double to left-center. Buster later came home on Crawford’s RBI single.

I’ll be honest—when the guys started heating up, I thought maybe we were going to have another huge eighth inning. But they stopped at two. Two is still good—I’ll take it.

Final score: Giants 4, Braves 2
