Giants eyeing another Cuban prospect?
The Giants have shown interest in pretty much every top Cuban player on the market in recent years, and it looks like they have their sights set on yet another, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports:
Signing bonus for Cuban OF Eddy Julio Martinez, 20, could reach $10M. Braves, Giants, Yanks, Cubs, Nats, D-backs, White Sox shown interest.

There’s not much information out on Martinez at the moment, which is surprising given the internet’s ability to answer all of life’s questions.
That alone tells you that a) Julio isn’t a top-tier Cuban prospect and b) the Giants could actually be a serious suitor, given their preference to go after low-risk options from Latin America.
