The long shot: Kyle Crick
I know, I know. He doesn’t occupy a spot on the 40-man roster, he fell well short of expectations in his first Double-A campaign, and he’s still just 22 years old.
But Kyle Crick is dealing. Through four starts for the Flying Squirrels this season, Crick boasts a 1.50 ERA and 27 strikeouts. And he’s only getting better:
