Chemistry through continuity

To atone for the team’s ugly start and to account for a pair of injuries around the diamond, Bruce Bochy has been tinkering with lineups, hoping that some combination of players in the right order can put it all together.

Joe Panik’s gone from top to bottom in the order, Brandon Crawford’s moved up and down the bottom half and almost everyone has gotten a day off defensively. While you can’t fault Boch for this approach, even without all of their best bats, it’s time to pick a lineup and stick to it.

With the exception of riding a hot bat if it makes itself known, this is the formula the Giants need to follow with an order that is more power depleted than ever. To manufacture runs, the team needs chemistry through continuity.
