Madison Bumgarner impressions by the Giants

By Timmy Kennedy

The offseason can be boring. With no baseball to watch, things are tough. Thankfully, there are a couple of things to keep us entertained. For example, a video of the San Francisco Giants doing their best Madison Bumgarner impersonations/impressions. And yes, it’s as good as it sounds. His North Carolina, country, ranch-esque accent is pretty distinctive, and rather funny when impersonated.

Any video which starts with Bruce Bochy saying, “my best bum impression?” is destined to be great. Yet more, the already country Tim Hudson wears a wig, and speaks even more country. Hunter Pence is there, of course. Hunter Pence gives his all, of course. Hunter Pence is the best and the funniest and the coolest, of course.

Snotrockets, high pitch-counts and postseason domination are all given their mentions. Bumgarner’s incredible locks, his apparently big ears and of course his ranch feature, too. To cut a long story short: it’s hilarious. The man who is phased by absolutely nothing isn’t phased by getting mocked, either. On the heels of pitching the Giants to another World Series, we can’t get enough of Bumgarner. It’s actually a sequel of a Hunter Pence impersonation video, which was released after the Giants won the World Series in 2012. Incredible, too.

Immediately after winning the World Series, Bumgarner appeared on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon show. And yes, it was brilliant. It even featured a brand new pair of underwear, with a madbum. If you somehow managed to miss that, here it is. It’s equally as brilliant. And, our Bumgarner and our Giants gets lavished in lots of praise – which is always nice to see. Enjoy, people.
