Below are the July 2014 Movers & Shakers, transactions and updates around the National League West as of July 9, 2014.

The San Francisco Giants are currently .5 games back of the Dodgers who are in first place in the NLW with a record of 51-42. The Padres are third but 9 games behind the Giants.

So far in July, the Giants have activated Brandon Belt from the DL, sent Marco Scutaro and Ehire Adrianza on rehab assignments to Triple-A Fresno and optioned Adam Duvall back to Triple-A Fresno.
