National League West injury report, San Francisco Giants Marco Scutaro progressing

Below is the National League West injury report as of July 9, 2014 as updated by MLB.

The San Francisco Giants are currently .5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers that are currently in first place with  a record of  51-42 after losing against the Detroit Tigers today.

Surprisingly, the Giants only have three players currently on the DL, while the Dodgers have nine players injured. Marco Scutaro was sent to Triple-A Fresno on Monday and is said to be progressing really well. When he can play a full nine innings with Fresno he’ll be activated from the 60-day DL.
