Ryan Vogelsong  (1-1, 4.60 ERA) against Josh Beckett (0-1, 3.14 ERA.)

Vogelsong will be looking to build off his last two great starts. Dominating against Cleveland and Atlanta, Beckett will bring another tough challenge for the Giants veteran.

Madison Bumgarner (3-3, 3.18 ERA) against Paul Maholm (1-2, 4.70 ERA.)

The Giants ace will go up against the Dodgers’ fifth starter, Maholm. Maholm has had a good season thus far – as a number five guy – however Bumgarner, who has been okay, has much room for improvement.

Matt Cain (TBD, depends on finger) against Zack Greinke (5-1, 2.35 ERA.)

Providing Cain is healthy, he will take to the mound to face Greinke, who in the absence of Kershaw has truly been the ace of the staff. Coming off his first loss of the season, Greinke will aim to bounce back.

Tim Hudson (4-2, 1.99 ERA) against Clayton Kershaw (2-0, 0.66 ERA.)

Probably the matchup of the series, Kershaw takes to the mound for only the third time this season. Hudson, who has been the leader and ace of the Giants rotation thus far, will face off against the best pitcher in the game, Kershaw.
