The San Francisco Giants will face the Pittsburgh Pirates for Game 2 of a 3-game series tonight at 4:05 pm PT. The Giants got the13 inning win last night, 11-10, and boy was it a good one.

Here’s tonight’s lineups for both teams.

On the Giants side, you’ll notice a few things off the bat. Brandon Belt is back in the lineup tonight. Brandon Hicks is not in the lineup. Nothing weird with Hicks, he’s just getting a night off.

I’m also guessing we won’t see Hector Sanchez tonight after catching that entire game last night. If needed, he may come in for a pinch hit, but I don’t think we’ll see him behind the plate unless disaster happens. By the way, after Buster Posey and Pablo Sandoval was removed from last night’s game, there was a lot of talk about who the emergency catcher was if something happened to Hector. Apparently it would have been Hicks, but that may not have even been the most entertaining part of it, according to Schulman.

Really, only that scenario could have made last night’s game any weirder. In other news today, George Kontos was recalled from Fresno, while Jake Dunning was sent down.

Kontos is already in Pittsburgh, in time for the game, but it looks like most everyone is available in the bullpen tonight with the exception of Santiago Casilla and possibly Jean Machi.
