Madison Bumgarner will make his fourth start of the spring today (fifth if you count the SF Giants Futures game). He’s had an excellent spring, in 17 innings pitched he still holds a 0.00 ERA with only 10 hits with 17 strikeouts.
Brandon Hicks and Ehire Adrianza will continue to battle it out for an infielder utility role, giving Brandon Crawford and Joaquin Arias the day off today. Buster Posey will be at 1B for the first time this spring and Andrew Susac, who was sent down to the minor league camp last week, will be behind the plate. Angel Pagan and Michael Morse return to the lineup in CF and LF. Hunter Pence also gets a day off and Gregor Blanco will start in RF.
