The San Francisco Giants wished Michael Morse a Happy Birthday this morning on Twitter. They did it in a fun, unique fashion, too!

In case you’re wondering, yes, that does actually say “Happy Birthday Michael Morse” in Morse Code. I’ll definitely be bookmarking that website for evil doings the future. How great is 2014?

Our very own Eric Nathanson had a chance recently to interview Marty Lurie and talk about the great Willie Mays. He also asked him about what Willie was thinking while in the on-deck circle in October of 1951.
"He hoped it wouldn’t have to come to him. Willie said he was awestruck by the moment. He was nervous. You can see when Bobby Thomson hits the home run Willie didn’t even realize the game was over."

Bruce Bochy is still
lying to us
,
lying to himself
, saying Marco Scutaro is 50-50 for being Opening Day ready.
Bochy is calling it "50-50" that Scutaro will play in the opener. The real odds are way, way lower. An assessment: http://t.co/80wVLvNssT

I disagree with those odds, and so does Andrew Baggarly.
