Yusmeiro Petit will start for the Giants against Oakland’s #2 starter, Sonny Gray. Petit had a rough start in the beginning of spring training but has done well in his recent outings. He holds a 7.88 ERA in 8 innings pitched but has not allowed an earned run in his last 3 games.
Angel Pagan returns after experiencing back tightness for most of this week. Michael Morse also is in tonight after missing more than a week with a sore calf. Marco Scutaro received an epidural injection in his back yesterday so Ehire Adrianza is starting at 2B tonight.
Pagan and Morse return tonight, as expected. Adrianza starts at 2B. #SFGiants

Both Brandon Hicks (.394 BA) and Juan Perez (.313 BA) are battling for backup positions at 2B and LF. They’ve certainly been making the Giants coaches look twice at their impressive spring stats.
IF Brandon Hicks and OF Juan Perez are tied for the Cactus League lead with seven doubles. #SFGiants
