The San Francisco Giants are set to face the Cincinnati Reds today at 12:05 pm PST at Scottsdale Stadium. The Giants lineup today includes many familiar faces, namely Angel Pagan leading off, and Brandon Belt, Buster Posey, and Pablo Sandoval in the 3-4-5 spots. Tim Hudson is set to make his second start of spring.

UPDATE: Hunter Pence is replacing Abreu as DH. Talked his way into the lineup. #GAMER

The Reds lineup is as follows:

The Giants announced their first round of cuts this morning.

That would be Jose Casilla and not his brother, Santiago Casilla, in case you were confused, per Andrew Baggarly. I’m a little surprised Kyle Crick was cut this early, but not so much about anyone else. Of course, Crick has plenty of time, so no need to rush him at this juncture.

Also, Wmsn apparently means Mac Williamson. Darn Twitter and their 140 character limit. Henry Schulman has more on the cuts.

In WTF news, the 6′ 8″ Kameron Loe and 5′ 10″ Tim Lincecum switched jerseys AND pants this morning apparently. Thanks to Hunter Pence, Alex Pavlovic, and social media, we have the good fortune to see it.

Apparently Sergio Romo and Sandoval also traded uniforms this morning, but I’ve yet to see a picture of that. I’m guess Pablo really must have lost of weight to fit into Romo’s uniform.
