Spring Training games started yesterday. If you haven’t read the recap yet, you can read it right now. SPOILER ALERT: The San Francisco Giants were defeated by the Oakland Athletics.
That’s not good new, and the videos I’m getting ready to show you isn’t good news in the traditional sense either, but you’re definitely going to want to see them.
Gold Glove winner, and A’s outfielder, Josh Reddick made an amazing catch yesterday to rob newly acquired Giants outfielder, Michael Morse of a home run. Not once, but twice. And not in your typical fashion either. Just watch the two videos below, via Susan Slusser of the SF Chronicle and the Oakland Athletics beat writer.
Wow, indeed.
It’s not all bad new though. First, we’ve been hearing about the power that Morse has. Now we’re seeing a little bit of it, even if it is just Spring Training.
On the plus side for Morse, Reddick offered to buy him dinner.
@Mcode38 dinner on me brother whenever you want

The Giants are off today. They play again tomorrow, Friday, with a split squad against the Milwaukee Brewers and again against the A’s. I’m betting Morse volunteered to play the Brewers this go-round.
