Pitchers and catchers officially reported to Scottsdale yesterday. The first workouts are going on at the time of this post. So far the talk of today has nothing to do with any pitchers or catchers, it’s all about 3B Pablo Sandoval and his weight loss and contract.
Just saw Sandoval. First reaction: He's definitely trimmed down, but transformation nowhere near as stunning as spring 2011.

I will admit, Pablo does look like he has dropped some weight

When asked about a contract extension, Pablo is a free agent following this season
Sandoval said he's open to extension talk. "They opened door to be in the big leagues. We can have a dynasty if we keep the team together."

Sandoval said he's be open to contract extension before the season. #sfgiants.

Remember when you were supposed to come into spring training in shape and it wasn't supposed to be a big deal? #notsayin #justsayin
