Happy New Year from Around the Foghorn

It’s 2014 and the staff here at Around the Foghorn want to wish you and yours a Happy New Year. We’re excited about what the year holds for this site, as well as for the San Francisco Giants. It is, after all, an even numbered year and if a short recent history is any indication, we may be having another World Series parade in San Francisco come late October or November.

Alas, that is a long time off, but we’d love to hear what you are most looking forward to in 2014. Is it Tim Hudson wearing orange and black? Is it seeing what becomes of Ryan Vogelsong or Tim Lincecum? Is it seeing how dominate Madison Bumgarner is? What kind of player Pablo Sandoval becomes this season? Brandon Belt? Brandon Crawford? What about Mike Morse?

Yeah, we have a ton of questions and hopes for the season to come. Tell us yours!

Also, if you plan on being a Spring Training, let us know! A lot of our staff will be there at some point and we’d love to meet you.
