Follow Derek Law And Mac Williamson On Twitter

The baseball offseason can get pretty fun on Twitter and tonight was no exception with the war between prospects Derek Law and Mac Williamson. They battled to see who could get to 1,000 followers first, Williamson coming out just ahead of Law in the late evening. Law offered Twitter followers a signed glove for helping him reach 1,000 while Williamson offered used batting gloves to a random winner tomorrow.
Thanks to all you great giants fans for the help! Get @DerekLaw24 to 1k now!! I'll announce the winner tomorrow! #sfgiants #twitterfam

We have 81 days until spring training 2014 so why not tune into Twitter for some fun to get you through the off-season?
Derek Law finished the Arizona Fall League with a 0.00 ERA as a right-handed reliever. In 11 AFL appearances, Law pitched 12 1/3 innings with no earned runs. The right-hander allowed just eight hits, walked six, struck out 16 and held the opposition to a .186 batting average.
Mac Williamson, an outfielder for the San Jose Giants in the 2013 season, batted .292 in 136 games.
We’ll likely see both at major league camp for the Giants at Spring Training in 2014. Follow them both on Twitter at @mwilliamson7 and @dereklaw24.
