Tim Hudson Officially A Giant

Tim Hudson is officially a Giant and signed a two-year, $23MM deal with the Giants, becoming starter #4 after Bumgarner, Cain and Lincecum. Hudson had a physical in San Francisco yesterday so things are moving along well since his gruesome ankle injury on July 24, 2013. Hudson had the screw removed from his right ankle last week.
"The ankle is going along fine, not 100% now, but on the way": RHP Tim Hudson on 2013 injury. Hopes to start throwing next month. #SFGiants.

Hudson will get $11 million next year and then $12 million in 2015 with a full no-trade clause like Lincecum. He wore #15 in Atlanta but Bruce Bochy wears #15 in San Francisco. He wore #52 in Oakland for six years, will he take that number from Yusmeiro Petit?
Hudson wore 15 in Atlanta. That's Bochy's number. "Looks like I'll have to change."

Hudson has a 3.44 ERA in his 15-year MLB career. He spent six years in Oakland and the last nine years in Atlanta. Welcome to the Giants Tim Hudson, see you at Spring Training.
