Javier Lopez is going to be a Giant again. We all know how happy that makes me.
The #SFGiants and Javier Lopez have agreed to a deal and are hammering out other details, according to Bobby Evans on Sirius XM.

This probably goes without saying , but Javier Lopez's new deal will be multiyear. Two or three years? I'm not sure. #sfgiants.

The Giants are apparently still interested in Bronson Arroyo while others think it’s more likely Vogelsong will return and compete with Yusmeiro Petit for the #5 starting pitcher slot after Tim Hudson signed with the Giants yesterday.
Going over Sabean's comments, when he said "we spoke to the 5th starter," he probably was referring to the issue, meaning Vogelsong/Other.

As Giants fill their last remaining spot in the rotation, could go with Vogelsong, or Arroyo, depending on which deal fits best.

Sabean seems open to Vogelsong as fifth starter. Lopez could be returning. #sfgiants OK with getting much of the band back together.

Sabean said Giants are engaged with Vogelsong and have "other feelers" out there. If Vogey returns, they wouldn't sign another starter.

Doubtful we’ll see the Giants sign an everyday left fielder with power bat. But there is a lot of news back and forth today. Stay tuned!
Nutshell: It's Vogelsong or another SP, not both. #SFGiants are out on Tanaka. Javier Lopez should re-sign soon. New everyday LF doubtful.
