Gold Glove Winners for 2013 were announced yesterday. No San Francisco Giants won this year, however fully expect several from Brandon Crawford in years to come.

There was a slight change in determining the winners, per ESPN.

"For the first time, a statistical component factored into the voting — the SABR Defensive Index accounted for 25 percent of the vote. The remaining votes came from major league managers and coaches."

This makes the 6th straight Gold Glove for Cardinals catcher, Yadier Molina.

"Molina’s current streak is the best for an NL catcher since (Johnny) Bench won 10 in a row from 1968 to 1977."

In the NL West, Carlos Gonzalez took home his 3rd, with Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado taking home their 1st.
