Pre-gamer And Lineups 8/31 Giants/Dbacks
Ryan Vogelsong (3-4, 5.58) takes the mound for the Giants at Diamondbacks tonight facing RHP Trevor Cahill (5-10, 4.39). They both came back from the disabled list earlier this month and both have been stellar since returning.
Vogelsong pitched eight scoreless innings in his last outing against the Pirates last Sunday. He has not lost a game since returning from the disabled list. In his last eight starts against the Diamondbacks, Vogelsong is 2-3 with a 4.22 ERA.

In other Giants news, Matt Cain is on schedule to start next Saturday at home against the Diamondbacks. He was put on the 15 day DL for the first time of his career.
