Lincecum and Belt Power Giants over Brewers; Giants 4, Brewers 1

By Alex Pettitt

Tim Lincecum looked really good over 8.0 innings of 1 hit ball. His line 8.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB. It looks like he’s playing for a contract next year…Oh wait, he is. The question is whether he’ll be playing for one year or multiple years?

Brandon Belt hit a three run dong in the first, that scored Marco Scutaro and Brandon Crawford. Scutaro started off the inning with a hit and Crawford followed with another hit. Hard to believe Belt’s first go around in the clean up role, he would clean the bases.

The scoring would end in the third inning when Crawford scored Scuturo after a two out double.

After Sandy Rosario gave up a home run in the top of the ninth, Javier Lopez and Sergio Romo shut the Brewers down to tie the series at 2 wins a piece.

The Orioles come to town tomorrow, Ryan Vogelsong will make his return to the rotation facing Chris Tilman who is 14-3 with a 3.89 ERA.
