Giants/Brewers Lineups and Pre-Gamer 8/6

The Giants head host the Brewers tonight for game two of a four game series. Matt Cain (7-6, 4.57 ERA) will face 24 year old RHP Wily Peralta (7-11, 4.57 ERA. Wily has the same ERA as Cain this season and is no relation to recently suspended Jhonny Peralta of the Tigers.
The Giants need to step up their offense. Cain only received 11 runs of support in his last 7 starts for the Giants. That’s only an average of about 2.6 runs per outing. The team need to start focusing more on hitting with RISP. They had only one hit in 13 at-bats with RISP last night and are 5-for-35 in these situations in their last four games.

Looks like Bochy will be keeping Scutaro in the leadoff spot for the time being. I’d like to see Pence since he has a little more speed but we’ll see. Looks like the Giants are holding off on starting Pill and Francoeur until a LHP starts. Tomorrow the Brewers list TBA as their pitcher. Brewers’ LHP Tom Gorzelanny will miss a start tomorrow after being struck on his pitching elbow by a line drive Friday night.
