So as long as the Reds are willing to pay the price of a MLB ready starting pitcher, they should be OK entering the conversation, and there’s absolutely no way the Giants kee–

Oh, come on. Sure, against 71 batters in 2013, Lopez is .167/.232/.234 with a .213 wOBA against LHH, but he’s not going to get a qualifying offer, the team is eleven games out, this is a guy that if you’re not going to sell of, you better re-sign down the road. That could be the only way holding on to Lopez might be worth it. I think this would be the time to sell high, though. We shall see, less than 75 minutes left until the deadline.
