The Beard Speaks: Brian Wilson Thanks Fans via Twitter

Earlier on Tuesday, Brian Wilson, former Giant pitcher, signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Terms of the deal are $1MM base with performance-based incentives, and we do know that he will be getting ready in the minors to prepare for life in Los Angeles, where the Dodgers currently reside in a very sunny first place. Wilson has taken to twitter to thank the Giants fans:
Thank you to the fans in San Francisco. It was an honor to pitch in front of you for all those years....

Even though I'll be wearing a different color your impact in my life will never be forgotten.

I expect this to be the last article we do today on the Brian Wilson signing, but who knows, maybe more will be on the way if any bulletin board material gets posted from others on the team.
