Giants OF Notes: Pagan Rehabbing, Torres Cowboying

By Stuart Jones

While there was some speculation it was likely that Angel Pagan would be out for the season, it is still possible for Pagan to rejoin the team this year, especially if the Giants find themselves in the thick of things, you know Angel Pagan is going to try and find a way in to game action. Whether he’s successful or not in that push is another matter, though. However, the rehabbing process has begun for the so-called “Crazy Horse” in Scottsdale, AZ, as he has begun baseball activities while recovering from the surgery he had on his left hamstring. Field Manager Bruce Bochy said Pagan is feeling “pretty good” and said he and Angel both feel he can make it back before September 29th.

Then there’s our Andres Torres, who I am convinced invented skinny jeans. He may have also invented the highlighter-cowboy outfit:

I’m not sure what he said about his outfit, but when reporters approached him, he probably asked them, “How are you? How’s your family?” while shaking their hands multiple times, being the nicest guy ever.

The Giants resume regular season action with the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight at 7:15 PM PST.
