Two days left: No Giants leading in ASG Voting

By Stuart Jones

With Buster Posey being the most legitimate candidate for the All Star Game and Pablo Sandoval maybe having a very likable nickname, the focus has been on them to get them to New York to represent the Giants and the National League while Bruce Bochy manages them against Jim Leyland and the American League. With a little over forty-eight hours remaining, the updates don’t look so promising for the two Giants:

Hunter Pence (7th of all OF) also has a good argument to get in if you take a look at the leaderboards here, and thanks to Posey’s recent tear, he’s back in front of Yadier Molina in fWAR, but it’s so close, either Molina or Posey is a great choice to be the starting catcher.
