The Giants are in Cincinnati trying their best not to have a repeat of last night. While the Giants pitching hasn’t been terrible, 3 ER through 6 innings, the Reds pitching was perfect. Yes, THAT perfect. Reds pitcher, Homer Bailey, is attempting to throw a
perfect game no hitter and is just 3 innings away from doing it. Bailey already has thrown a no-hitter in his career. Bailey was perfect through 6, but a walk to Gregor Blanco prevented.
The Giants have never had a perfect game thrown against them. The last MLB no-hitter was through by none other than Bailey himself.
Stay tuned, or better yet, tune in to see if the Giants will unfortunately be part of baseball history tonight. When it rains, it pours, but you better believe I believe in the JINX.
Update: I no sooner posted this and Bailey allowed his first baserunner. I most certainly believe in the Jinx now.
